Agreed....What he gains is tarnishing MM even more than he already is and helping him get booted by the rank and file. McConnell has been a thorn in Schumer’s saddle for a long time and even though he has let his party down in certain important ways, Schumer would love to have him gone.

Maybe a million of us should move to KY for the minimum amount of time required to vote there. Rent a room, get a phone turned on there, boom, you’re a resident. Sublease out a few square feet to 10 friends and they’ll have a lease as proof of residency.

Evil as he may be, McConnell is a master parliamentarian, who has foiled Schumer many times. Schumer wants a new hand who won’t be as capable leading the R party. I sure hope whoever comes in has the same skills or has a master as advisor.

The GOPe lets the dems direct the future path of the party. I’m surprised they haven’t elected Pelosi as house leader. All in the name of bi-partisanship, of course.
The GOP is going to lose their conservative base. I’m not sure where they are going, but I suspect many will just start staying on home on election day. They are tired of being betrayed.
