Two people have been killed in Poland after explosions hit a farm near the border with Ukraine in what is thought to be a botched Russian missile attack.
Twin explosions rang out this afternoon in Przewodów, a rural village located less than ten miles from the Ukrainian border in south western Poland.
A senior US intelligence official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the fatal blasts were caused by a pair of wayward Russian missiles.

Pictures don’t seem to correspond to a Kalibr (because with a 400 to 500 kg warhead, that tractor would have been vaporized, and it also would’ve left a much bigger crater).
Possibly a remnant of an S-300 (which is an air defense system used by both Russia and Ukraine), but the particular provenance is still inconclusive.

Given what some Ukrainian Telegram channels are saying, it’s possibly a remnant of a Ukrainian S-300 that intercepted a Russian cruise missile, with the debris from both landing across the Polish border.
(Your Mileage May Vary, for what it’s worth.)
First Uke telegram channels and now Russians too say it was indeed an S-300 (Ukrainian), specifically from Air defense regiment #540 in Lvov area, Ukraine.
This of course does not remove the possibility of WWIII so desired by the Demented.

Pissing off the Poles isn’t a smart move, they have very long memories and hate Russia at least as much as the Ukrainians... if not more!!

Logically, with NATO support, Poland could move some air defense units into western Ukraine so as to provide an advance defense of Poland’s air space and territory. And Russia should be clearly warned that attacks close to the Polish border risk severe consequences for Russia.
