I agree. Further troubling is that the democrats already have their narrative built for why Trump loses in ‘24 and lots on our side are already agreeing with them.
They had to build narratives for 2022 (Trump toxic, abortion, extremism).

Until yesterday when I heard that MTG came out for McCarthy to preserve the Republican hold...so with some liberal RINOS that would vote for Pelosi if needed, I am not sure I agree with you now.
Unlike Majority Leader,in,the Senate, Speaker is voted by the entire House. Usually the majority votes unanimously but in this case the Dems could propose Cheney and there are likely enough Rep members who would join a united Dem bloc to vote her in.
I have a better chance of being Speaker than Trump has.
