"What all these terrorist incidents have in common is the murder of Jews, only because they are Jews, citizens of the state, with the aim of harming the State of Israel and the revival of the Jewish people in their country." It is also written that "after every terrorist incident, the heads of the security establishment promise that 'the long arm of the State of Israel will come to account with the murderers.' ". Regarding the goals of the controversial law, it is written: "The goal of this bill is to stamp out terrorism at its outset, and create a severe deterrent. No more prisons with 'all-inclusive' conditions. No more releases of terrorists after serving half of their sentences.
