Hawley gets it. The GOP/Republican Party as it is, is not redeemable, and never will be. It belongs on the trash heap of history. People who care need to change their registrations to Independent/No Party. I did after 40+ years after January 6th. It’s time to send a message to these arrogant fools, who take us for granted, and only know us when they want something from us.

I would love to change from Republican to Independent; however, to work as an election clerk on election day in Maine one must be registered as a Republican or Demorat.

The law requires that any time the scanner of our paper ballots is opened, a registered Republican and a registered Demorat be present. Also, before voting starts the scanner ballot storage box be inspected by an R and a D, the same if the machine jams, and after the polls closed and the tallies run and the ballots removed from the box.
I like doing this job so will stay as a registered R.

The current Republican party doesn’t really stand for anything. But they still expect people to blindly vote for them.

Hawley is correct.

The Republicans should focus on the concerns of workers, employees and small business.

They outnumber the corporate crowd by 10X.

Big business, especially multinational corporations look at America as simply another market to exploit. They don’t care at all about our history, culture or people.
