Keeping a cut. You are correct that Ukraine did not "invest" in FTX. Nor did Ukraine send money to FTX AFAIK. But FTX helped Ukraine get donations from various parties and kept a cut of those.

The "investment watch blog" website doesn't provide any evidence that Ukraine invested in FTX. In fact in one sentence they say "invested" like they really mean something else. The only connection between Ukraine and FTX provided there is that Ukraine used FTX to collect crypto donations.

Using FTX, who gets a cut of the donations, is bad enough. But it's not what I would call an investment.

Exactly, where does it say 'tens-of-billions' went to FTX from Ukraine? Ukraine supposedly received about $100 million from crypto donations that went through FTX. So would love to see where you got the 'tens-of-billions'.
