They have been claiming “nine years to ruination” for more than 40 DAMN YEARS!
How come no one in Congress or the US enemedia has noticed this?
For 40 years, it’s been “If we don’t fix this in 10 years, we will have reached the ‘tipping point’ and it will be too late. Then there is nothing we can do about it because the wheels are in motion.”
If their forecasts 40 years ago, 30 years ago, 20 years ago, and 10 years ago had been accurate and true, we would have been in a runaway situation for 10 to 30 years from which we cannot return.
Yet we are obviously NOT in such a runaway cycle, thus disproving all their Chicken Little predictions. So why should we believe THIS Chicken Little prediction?
Nine years is a great number to seed panic. Not too close as people to see thru easily, not too large as for people to ignore it.
Doomsday predictions are always in around ten years.
