Maybe decades ago. New Hampshire has been North Massachusetts for many, many years. NH is NOT anything close to a Red State.
Good friends of ours from NH recently abandoned NH for Florida. The husband used to serve in the NH legislature - he was a very effective state senator. He and his wife love living in the Free State of Florida now.
