I may be misreading things but I bet we see disappointing Dem turnout (for them, that is). Dems know this is going to be a Republican wave of sorts and, on top of that, a lot of them probably aren’t motivated to vote. Crime, inflation and uncontrolled immigration affect everyone. Even Dems.

Well, my mom is 90 now and we live in the PA media market (south Jersey, right across from Philly). My mom lives in a senior independent living facility (so she's in a bubble of Philly TV and a bunch of seniors without much other exposure to the outside world). She doesn't care much about politics but she is a lifelong dem and she is frankly sort of a sheep, when he was alive I think my dad influenced her but now she goes with what the crowd and the scare ads telling her on politics. She hated Trump, couldn't say why but just did. So that's the background.

She now can't stand Fetterman. She's stunned anyone could vote for him. Why? Crime and letting people out of prison. From this I postulate that the seniors are not buying into the guy. Hope that right.

Fetterman: I used to talk with Stephen Hawking a lot. Called him Hawk. He had trouble keeping up but ended up learning a lot.
