WASHINGTON — The Justice Department on Monday filed two charges in federal court against the suspect in Friday’s brutal attack on the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
The complaint alleged that DePape was attempting to kidnap the House speaker when he broke into the San Francisco residence, not realizing that she was in Washington, D.C., and only her husband, Paul Pelosi, 82, was home.
"Pelosi was asleep when DePape came into Pelosi’s bedroom and stated he wanted to talk to 'Nancy.' When Pelosi told him that Nancy was not there, DePape stated that he would sit and wait," the complaint said. The complaint says Paul Pelosi called authorities from the bathroom.
During an interview police conducted on the day of the attack, DePape said, "He was going to hold Nancy hostage and talk to her."
"If Nancy were to tell DePape the 'truth,' he would let her go, and if she 'lied,' he was going to break 'her kneecaps'" investigators said in the complaint.
The suspect also told investigators that "by breaking Nancy's kneecaps, she would then have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions."
The complaint said DePape told police that "he wanted to use Nancy to lure another individual" to him, but the complaint didn't identify that person.
On Saturday, law enforcement determined that DePape had been living for the last two years in the garage of a residence in Richmond, Calif., just outside of San Francisco. In the garage, "among other things, agents seized two hammers, a sword, and a pair of rubber and cloth gloves," the complaint said.

However, the S.F.P.D. did release 911 call info that Paul Pelosi himself said "His name is David, and he is a friend."
He wanted the truth from Nancy? Truth about what exactly? Her grasp of the truth is so tenuous as to be non-existent.
So if that is the case there should be security footage, and also Nancy Pelosi is 3rd in line for the presidency they have NO security at her house, NONE..am I supposed to believe that
He should be released on his own recognizance per the woke “there are no criminals that deserve punishment” belief. (sarcasm)
America’s Gestapo sure got involved quickly in this local domestic criminal complaint.
Its almost like Ernst Rohm got caught with some young boys or something....
1. What ‘truth’ did he want Nancy to tell?
2. Why did no one awake when he bashed through a glass sliding door?
3. Why did Paul Pelosi NOT just lock the bathroom door and tell 911 his house had been entered?
4. Why did the police say Pelosi sounded confused...or drunk?
5. Who let the police in if the police came in and saw the two fighting?
6. Why was there absolutely no security?
7. How did Depaul get all the way from Berkeley, where he had been living in a bus, to just outside of Golden Gate Bridge Park? That’s an hour walk from BART.
8. Why were police called only on a ‘welfare check’?
There are just so many MORE questions now, it’s unbelievable.

The first time I saw the "Where's Nancy" quote, it was attributed to a CNN reporter. It did not come from the police.
The official narrative is now being solidified, and the inconvenient early reports are being purged.
Gotta keep him in isolation. No talking to the public or media. He will be dead by Thanksgiving.
And also gave the full name of the dispatcher who handled the call. All three police officers full names too. The officers spent a good amount of time just “observing the two men inside”.
In the ambulance to the hospital, Paul Pelosi told police he had never seen DePape before, the complaint said.

So now the FBI is providing the BS. Amazing how they are getting this out in plenty of time to affect the mid terms when investigations by justice usually takes months
