I thought John Stamos' brother did it better...
Should have sent Upgrayedd after him.
I am not a Cher fan, but I remember that for a long time she refused to go on Letterman’s show and he would frequently talk and joke about it on the air. Finally she appeared and he asked her why she had refused before. “Because I thought you were an @$$hole,” she replied.
She’s so fragile that she’s “shook” by someone mispronouncing her name and mentions it years later?
Boo hoo.
Having said that, Letterman was a real jerk.
So I’m reading this wondering who this whiny chick is, and then I see she’s a Saturday Night Live alumni, and that explains everything.
Why I don’t know her because Saturday Night Live has sucked for 40 years and I quit watching it long long ago.
Why I don’t care because, well because she’s another celebrityard complaining about another celebritytard being not nice to her.
Galileo was wrong. He thought the Earth revolved around the sun. No, the Earth revolves around celebutards.
“Despite her decades in the limelight, Rudolph still doesn’t consider herself a celebrity.”
I don’t consider her a celebrity, either. Never heard of her.
And so 13 years ago, snarky fool Letterman made her feel bad. So what? It does demolish her claim not to consider herself a celebrity, though, if she’s upset that Letterman didn’t know enough about her to pronounce her name the way she demands.
I guess he never heard of her, either.
Oh, good grief, try having a Samoan name. I’ve heard everything.
she has a great rack
Gee Maya, why didn’t you wait another 13 years to bitch about it.
WOW! How humiliating! Someone mispronounced her name. I hope she gets therapy for the trauma. Clearly she is still experiencing PTSD. That is one of the most devastating things that can happen to a person. My heart goes out to her. Maybe we should have a telethon to raise money for her and all the victims in our world who have had their names mispronounced.
So how is her name supposed to be pronounced?
Everything I heard is behind the mild Midwestern demeanor he showed the nation was a nasty person.
Letterman has always been a nasty piece of work.
