To know the unknowable? I think not.
The CDC was facing the possibility that newly-introduced virus strains could kill far more Americans than the original strains. Against that possibility were a set of vaccines which could be minorly tweaked to recognize the new virus strains.
That was a simple decision.
As it turned out the new virus strains posed far less risk than the original strains and far less risk than the new boosters. The risk posed by introducing a tweaked vaccine was far less than the possible risk posed by the new virus strains.
I’m not saying that these vaccines are risk free. They are obviously not. I am saying that the new boosters have no more risk than the original vaccines.
Sorry but they have had the data for a while, they have no excuse. Kids have been known not to be affected much at all but they mandate masks and now they added the jab to the vaccine regiment for them and they have no reason to.
Emily Osten has written about amnesty but she had the data early on the pandemic to demonstrate that mask efficacy in schools was non-existent but under pressure from peers and establishment leaders, she caved, stayed silent and archived her data.
Natural immunity offered strong protection but that was ignored.
