Most likely we’re out of heating oil because we’re refining more diesel...which is then being sent to Europe to make up for their Suicide-Sanctions on Russia.

As of September 2022, the USA is exporting 1.04 million b/d (barrels per day) of diesel.

I read last week, I forget where, that diesel is now being rationed. I don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, this country is in epic trouble. I can just imagine the panic that's going to break out when people see their local supermarket resembles the Soviet markets. Hey! State sanctioned dieting!
