Elon Musk has vowed to fire a whopping 75 percent of Twitter's workforce as part of his plan to take over the company.
Corporate documents obtained by the Washington Post reveal that the billionaire told prospective investors in his $44 billion deal to buy the social media giant that he plans to get rid of three-quarters of its 7,500 workers.
That would leave the company with just a skeleton crew of just over 2,000 employees, which experts say would make it difficult for the social media company to tamp down on what it deems to be 'misinformation.'

The deal is expected to be finalized by next Friday

Glorious!
And he'd still prolly be left with a lot of useless fat to cut.
That %75 is probably how many humans they have dedicated to their censorship team, I would put money on it.
Woke is SO over. Bring on the midterms!
.
You may recall, Lindsey Graham wants to Investigate Musk.
I looked it up, Meta (FB) and Social Media Companies are some of the biggest donors to Graham.
He’s silent when they block Conservatives, but doesn’t want Musk taking over.

Learn to code.
He does not have to fire them. All that he has to do is announce that he converting to a pro-Trump forum and most of them will quit.
Meet the new boss,
same as the old boss....the parting on the Left is now the parting on the Right....
The Who song
A change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that’s all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain’t changed
‘Cause the banners, they’ve all flown in the last war
I’ll tip my hat to the new Constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again, no, no
I’ll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half-alive
I’ll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do you?
Yeah
There’s nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are effaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
Don’t get fooled again, no, no
Yeah
Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss
Could Musk launch the 80 million (yeah, right) people who “voted” for Biden into space?
One of the absolutely best R&R songs ever!
(love the intro :-)

Hold those 75% accountable to the people they cancelled, say $10,000,000 per cancelled account.
My guess is that AT LEAST 75% of the current Twitter staff are uber liberal marxists.
My admonition to them is that TWITTER earned this STAFF TRIM when they permanently, arrogantly and smugly cancelled the President of the United States thereby flipping the bird to approximately half the adult population of the US.
I’m sure I speak for millions when I say tough shit!!

It seems 75% of the staff do little more than police conservative posts, issue bans, warnings, and other harassing measures against those who dare to post conservative viewpoints or inconvenient truths. In a single move he will increase profit per employee and improve the product.
“That %75 is probably how many humans they have dedicated to their censorship team, I would put money on it.”
Same here. About ten years ago I read that one of Facebook’s censorship/monitoring teams was 6-7 Muslim women living in Ireland.
I read somewhere a few weeks back that, via documents made public in the twitter v Musk lawsuit, one of Musk’s friends/advisors was texting him that Twitter’s revenue per employee was 2.5x higher than other tech companies. So something is wrong when compared to its peers.
I believe even Jack Dorsey - the founder and former CEO - regrets how things went at the company and that he would have done it differently had he been able to course correct many years back. Seems that the employees have pulled off a successful mutiny and it requires an outsider to come in a clean house to effect real change. If Musk is sincere about making it a “public square for free speech” he has no choice but to shred their internal policies and rid the company of any vestige of their ideological biases.
I’m not a financial expert-and I don’t play one on TV-but it looks like Musk played the Twitter corporate heads bigtime-sounds like they are still trying to figure out what he did. He apparently intends to get rid of the censors and the lazy asses right out the gate-boost the profits and recoup some some of that outrageous high price right away-cool!
