There is no such thing as a “Zero Carbon electric grid” and there will NEVER be one.
There could one be if it was all nuclear and breeder reactors made new fuel. That woud be 100% “carbon” neutral if you buy into the CO2 BS.

Tell me how they are going to spin up copper wire with solar or wind. How about mining the ore and purifying it? Transporting the ore, the copper and firing up the furnaces?
They know it is not possible, but THEY DO NOT CARE.
