Note to Republicans. Never bring a case against Democrats in DC or Northern Virginia. You will never find a jury that will convict. In that respect, they are the ultimate OJ jury. You can lead that horse to water but they will pee in it and then kick you in the sac.

This is what happens when leftists succeed in burrowing their way into every facet of government. To succeed in prosecuting the deep state, you have to first get deep state actors to cooperate in investigating themselves and/or their organizations, and then you have to convince them to allow themselves to be prosecuted and convicted. Never going to happen.
Which is why the Second Amendment is about firearms and not lawfare.

The not guilty verdict was pre-determined long ago. They just had to go through the motions to get there.

Here’s my take on the verdict :
The question after this verdict then becomes: if you lied to the FBI, but the FBI didn’t care enough to thoroughly investigate what you lied about, do they really count as genuine lies or just lies that FBI political hacks didn’t care about?
That’s what it’s looking like to me!

Sounds like Durham used the same absurd strategy he used in the first false statement trial - claiming that the FBI was duped.
LOL - the FBI created the Russia Hoax!
Durham was not going to get a conviction on any charge he filed in Washington D.C. or northern Virginia.
Regardless, Durham had an opportunity to tear off the FBI's bogus facade of probity and honor, and he decided to do nothing.
