EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Dan Crenshaw Campaign Paid Firm That Employs His Wife
DAILYCALLER.COM ^ | 10/17/2022 | HENRY ROGERS

RRepublican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s campaign has paid a small agency that employs his wife hundreds of thousands of dollars since 2020, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records reviewed by the Daily Caller.

The firm, Pink Cilantro, is a boutique branding agency based in Houston, Texas. The agency’s website, in service since 2013, went offline as recently as June, according to the internet archive called “The Wayback Machine.” Pink Cilantro’s owner, Basya Benshushan, told the Caller that they are in the process of “rebranding” the agency and that’s why the website is down.

Since 2020, Crenshaw’s campaign has paid Pink Cilantro more than $350,000. A Crenshaw spokesperson confirmed to the Caller that Tara Crenshaw is still an employee of Pink Cilantro but said her work is separate from the work the agency does for Crenshaw’s campaign.

Pink Cilantro is listed in Crenshaw’s financial disclosure report as “Spouse salary.”

The Caller pressed Benshushan about how much Tara Crenshaw has been paid by Pink Cilantro, as it is not applicable in Crenshaw’s financial disclosure report. Benshushan said he checked with her accountant and found that their agency has paid Tara Crenshaw more than $60,000.

It's pointless for the left to waste their time on attacks like this against Crenshaw.

Like him or not, The Woodlands in Texas is not going to vote for a Democrat.

If the Woodlands votes out Crenshaw in 2024, it will be because he can't control his liberal tendencies and a more conservative candidate attacks him from the right, but it won't be because of left-wing negative advertising.

“Like him or not, The Woodlands in Texas is not going to vote for a Democrat.”

Sure they will. The Democrat just has to pretend he’s a Republican like Crenshaw does.

Yeah, the Rooster Cogburn shtick comes off as phony.

FTR: I’m in my 70s, and over the years I’ve known people who have lost an eye. And not one of them ever wore an eyepatch. Every one of them used a prosthetic eye. And all of them looked perfectly normal to me.

“They act in whatever way they think will get them elected, then once they make it to DC, it’s Ka-Ching!”

Sadly, that is so true.
