It sounds like something out of an action film – a husband-and-wife scientist duo make a potentially life-changing breakthrough. Yet it’s a reality for physicians Uğur Şahin and Özlem Türeci, the married couple responsible for the development of the 90 per cent effective, experimental Covid-19 vaccine.
News broke on 9 November that the pursuit of a vaccine had taken a significant step forward, after pharma companies Pfizer and BioNTech stated that their experimental jab is effective in nine out of 10 cases. The announcement has been hailed as a sign of hope amid the pandemic, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson stating that the UK would be ‘towards the front of the pack’ to secure vaccinations.
The MailOnline reports that 55-year-old Uğur Şahin is the chief executive of a German biotech company BioNTech, for which his wife, 63-year-old Özlem Türeci is a fellow board member. Turkish-born Şahin was brought up in Germany, where his parents were factory workers for Ford. Şahin went on to train as a doctor, before becoming a professor and researcher specialising in immunotherapy.
It was during time spent working at teaching hospitals in Cologne and Homburg early in his academic career that he met immunologist Özlem Türeci, the daughter of a Turkish physician who migrated to Germany. The couple bonded over their shared enthusiasm for medical research and oncology – Türeci once said in an interview that her and her husband even found time to work in the lab on their wedding day.

Whats going to happen when a real pandemic with high mortality occurs? NO ONE will listen.
Is this a TWO YEAR OLD article? If so, we KNOW just how “Safe & Effective” this new vaccine is. Funny how this resurfaced after Pfizer Exec recently blabbed to EU.

I can see how in the climate at the time people just blindly trusted those “scientists” and Pfizer etc.

The mRNA vaccine was 9/10 effective according to the article and Pfizer.
At what?
It was not 9/10 effective at preventing infection or transmission. Pfizer stated under oath that they did not even test that.
9/10 effective at producing an antibody response is my guess as to what they are claiming. That is very far from a response that helps people.
Antibody response is also how the new boosters are being marketed.

The Covid shot was a real turkey.

I have been reading Turtles All The Way Down (Vaccine Science and Myths). If I remember the 98% effective reduction in mortality was actually a reduction of 0.004% vs. the rate in the unvaxxed (but not treated with HCQ, IVM, etc. with Zinc, antibiotics and Vitamin D3).
