U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bombers will lead fighter jets from Belgium, Germany, and 12 other countries across Europe’s skies on nuclear exercises Monday, amid reports Russia has increased the number of strategic bombers close to its border with NATO-member state Norway.
The annual NATO training is going ahead despite rising fears President Vladimir Putin might consider a real nuclear strike in Ukraine.

No we are not
We are America!
We’ve got it and it’s ok to flaunt it
Given the current situation how could this not be seen as provocative?
I get it that it’s been long in planning, you shouldn’t back down from bullies and all that, but this isn’t exactly tiddlywinks being played here.
On the bright side, we’ll no longer hear about climate change and trannies. We’ll be too busy burying loved ones and grubbing for food.
Yes, ratchet it up even more, ******* ********.
Wouldn’t we use B-2’s initially?...
Ramen noodles last forever, right?
It’s purposely provocative. Globalist trash want their war.
“Survival kit contents: one forty-five caliber automatic; two boxes of ammunition; four days’ concentrated emergency rations; one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills; one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible; one hundred dollars in rubles; one hundred dollars in gold; nine packs of chewing gum; one issue of prophylactics; three lipsticks; three pair of nylon stockings.”
““Unless you intend to kill him immediately thereafter, never kick a man in the balls. Not even symbolically. Or perhaps especially not symbolically.” ~ Robert A. Heinlein
Go back to 1983, and review the original intent of the US exercise for that year, and the amount of planning involved. It was only at the last minute that they scaled back the intent.
I cannot come to any other conclusion.
Regime change at all costs.
“As long as it takes,” the Joetato said.
Over enemy airspace sure, but B52s can carry large numbers of cruise missiles that can hit the enemy from a fairly safe distance away.
RAH has some quality books and quotes. Interesting life as well.
The B-52H has a weapons payload of more than 70,000lb. The nuclear weapons capacity includes 12 ACMSs, 20 ALCMs and eight bombs. ALCM stand-off distance is 2500 km.
You were saying?
The man is a loon.
Are you for starting a nuclear war over a non ally?
Nothing embarrassing about B-52s. Each one can launch 20 or so cruise missiles at targets in Russia from 1500+ miles away (including vastly overrated hypersonic missiles.) It's one of the most powerful platforms in our arsenal. The Russians can't compete.
