Putin doesn’t care about Russian lives any more than he cares about the lives of bugs in the forest. He sacrificed 60000+ Russian lives without batting an eye - for no purpose other than for his personal glory. And now he is preparing to send tens of thousands more of the unfit to their deaths. Which is why the whole idea of Putin annexing territory in eastern Ukraine to save Russian lives is laughable. Only fools believe that.

The soldiers murdered at Fort Hood were all professionals. While that was disturbing, there's a whole different morale element when you're talking about draftees, not volunteers.
