Because they absolutely Love him!

He’s beloved by the Senate.

This took 7 years to come out?

The Republicans had the Senate for the four years after it happened.

“not guilty to lying to the FBI” ... lying to the FBI is a crime. But the FBI can lie its ass off all day long, no problem. I would NEVER tell the truth to the FBI.

And as usual, no one will ever go to jail for this. This happens when you have a two-tier justice system. One for them and another for little peons like you and me. Remember Lois Lerner, weaponizing taxation. She probably still has her job and runs around scott free.

And when Steele couldn't produce evidence, Rosenstein appointed Mueller Special Counsel.

Such an appointment requires beforehand that a probable cause level case exist. It didn't. Cross-fire hurricane hadn't produced that, but not for lack of trying.

Somehow the FBI wasn't nearly as interested in pursuing Uranium One or Clinton's paying for fictional evidence of Trump-Russia collusion to prompt (or justify) use of federal taxpayer dollars to spy on her opposition's campaign.
