To: I want the USA back
There’s so much in this article I didn’t know about Columbus and was never taught in school. His voyages were the direct result of the muslim takeover of Constantinople and trade routes. He was opposed by the discriminatory Spanish Deep State. His warnings of impending hurricane doom were ignored, leading to the sinking of 25 treasure laden ships and loss of 500 lives. Only his treasure ship made it to Europe. Hhe was jailed in the New World He was a man of fervent prayer who heard encouraging words by the Spirit. And more.

This professor (link to lecture here) spent a great deal of time researching Columbus and his voyages. Her articles and lectures are an eye-opener. Politically, she does not come across as right-leaning and sounds more left-leaning, but she concludes that Columbus was not the evil man modern-day society believes him to be. In the time of Columbus, Christians believed the Apocalypse was imminent. In preparation, they wanted to save as many souls as possible and put Jerusalem back into the hands of Christians. This was the purpose of Columbus's voyages.
