I try not to worry about things I have no control over, if a nuclear war comes, so be it, hopefully I survive the initial blast and fallout from the radiation, if I don’t I hope I’m right under the blast and get incinerated instead of dying a slow painful death from radiation sickness.
Post nuclear exchange, everything electric manufactured in the last fifty years is fried trash. It doesn’t matter if you ever saw or experienced the blast or fallout. You could be 1000 miles from the blast and your society would immediately go 19th century. For one thing, Malthus would finally be right, with a vengeance.
