In the end Youngkin was a moderate Republican or to be more blunt a Fakeservative but the political propaganda machine had everyone drinking Kool Aid in the “Conservative Media Sphere” during the election campaign.
I would have voted for Youngkin if I lived in Virginia last year but with my eyes wide open and realistic expectations.
He spent most of his life working for the Carlyle Group. I told friends he was probably untrustworthy, and he is. Once again, the best we can get is someone who won’t do more harm, not someone who really wants to fight the enemy.
