While Biden Grovels, the UK Ramps Up Domestic Energy Production

This week President Joe Biden suffered another embarrassing blow after OPEC announced a decision to cut oil production just weeks before the 2022 midterm elections. The move was made despite Biden's trip to Saudi Arabia over the summer where he begged for an increase in production. He was ignored. Now, because of Biden's war on domestic oil production and moratoriums on drilling, American energy can't fill the gap and prices at the pump are set to hit new record levels.

But while Biden grovels and fails to advance energy polices that benefit the American people, newly minted UK Prime Minister Liz Truss is ramping up domestic production to lower prices and bolster national security.

Last week Germany finally admitted they are in an "energy war" and that the looming winter could be extremely difficult thanks to self-inflicted reliance on Russian gas.

Hmmmmmm! I heard someone blame the OPEC+ output cut for rising gas prices. Uh, it's been climbing near us for about 3-4 weeks. From near $4.00/gal to now a low of ~ $5.45/gal. ⛽🤬

If, oh, if only some leader had warned Europe about the dangers of relying on Russia for their energy needs. But where would one find such a prescient leader that could have foreseen such a terrible turn of events? Hmmm...

Biden cuts oil and gas production in the U.S. Big plus for the environment.

But only if OPEC makes up for those cuts since there is this thing in economics stalled DEMAND. Welcome to the real world, Joe.

So the UK is going to work on the problem without begging foreign countries for help? Why didn’t we think of that?! /s

These people in government whose entire careers has been in government service, one kind or another, have no concept of the real world. Budget is only a word, supply and demand is only in text books, etc.

They are no different than the academics and professors who are called "experts" and speak/write about their vast knowledge, which is detached from reality.

But none of that matters because none of them are held accountable by anyone. So it will continue.

Pres Trump told them what would happen; they all laughed at him. They are no longer laughing.

They should call Greta, I'm sure she has all the answers.

Belorussian hackers also ruined the railway systems from Belorussian to supply Vlad’s attempted take over of Kiev. What a mess for Bad Vlad....From the beginning.

Keyword = lousy /// Kerch bridge hammered. This is only getting better.
