Yes, I know it wasn’t an actual death threat, and death wish does not mean a literal death wish here, but to the numbskulls that lap it up, these are distinctions without a difference.
Trump was a good President, but he really needs to temporarily humble himself and take a class from somebody like Ron DeSantis — America’s best governor — or even Glenn Youngkin, the surprisingly hard-charging GOP governor of Virginia. Those two strike me as more refined and tactful, while still fully intending to leave their enemies bruised and bloodied, like DeSantis did with Disney, unlike the GOP-e, who think refinement is losing gracefully to communists.
JMO. Flame away! If I’m somehow wrong about Youngkin or DeSantis, feel free to draw and quarter me in your minds.
And yes, if Trump is the 2024 Presidential nominee, I will still cast my vote for him, and if he runs, I will cast my primary vote for him as well.
Not much to say - they’re both EXCELLENT governors. The only open question is whether they can handle the DC media without trying to ‘work across the aisle’. It seems 90% of our heroes eventually succumb. I suspect that’s because life is very lonely if you take them on.

I doubt that DeSantis cares either. He has a lovely wife and three kids, and he’s popular with both his base and a large number of other Floridians. I would expect similar results in DC.
OTOH, we have Boobio as well. He loves, loves, LOOOOOOVES to reach across the aisle, giving him a conservative score of 77% on certain votes in 2021. Still better than Val supposed-pro-police commie Demings. But even GOP-e-loving Rick Scott has around a 90 percent rating.
It’s not really for them. It keeps them fresh on our minds, though, every time we see their handles show up on our ZOT pings. It’s a sweet reminder of Freepers past.
What a great thread that is that you posted! Some of those FReepers are on the ZOT pings that Bikkuri and others send out. If they chose to be added to the ZOT ping list(s) while still active on FR, they are still listed there now. No one gets added to the ZOT ping lasts after passing, though, at least not to my knowledge. The ZOT lists are just the ZOT lists…not meant to memorialize all FReepers who have passed; just reminds us of all who have been a part of the ZOTs, past and present.
