Howdy, folks. I'm back online for more than 5 minutes (!) as of today, day 8 of Hurricane Ian. What a storm. Things are pretty busted up around here, but there are a lot of folks who are a lot worse off. All things considered, we got off lucky. Roof tarps on, palms and fallen oak limbs sawed up and piled high out back, debris cleaned up... gonna be picking up the pieces for a while.

Right now I am using my Verizon cellfone (Samsung Galaxy S8) set up as a hot spot. I'm getting about 4 Mbps DL and 1 Mbps UL speeds, so I am limping along, but at least the connection appears stable.

Of course, saying that, I probably jinxed myself, so if I disappear again, you know why! $;-)
