I read up on his record as Mayor. Johnson was much more Mitt Romney like than Donald Trump like. He simply fooled a lot of FReepers.
And “true conservative” Liz Truss is nothing to write home about when it comes to social issues, either. Italy’s PM, on the other hand, is an across the board solid conservative.
If you noticed, in some of the news reports about this, Benito Mussolini was called ‘far-right’ or ‘right-wing’.
He’s about as far-right as Crockajawea.

They are already playing the “anti-Semitic” card whenever a Republican mentions George Soros, so I’m sure the new Italian leader is going to get it ten times worse.
If “right” means “anarchist”, which it logically SHOULD, then yes, perhaps they would be.
The “left” commies push this idea that fascism is the OPPOSITE of communism, which is far from the truth. Hence they keep using that word…I don’t think they know what it means….
