War game studies are done all the time on both enemies and friends. Because you just never know when you're going to have to liberate France again or someone else.

The sanctions didn't start until 2014 AFTER Russia occupied Crimea and started funding and directing a rebellion in Ukraine's East.

False Equivalency. Russia under Putin wasn’t expanding north building a “NATO,” in Central America to put soldiers eventually in Mexico.

Nor were there Russian George Bush’s agitating for inclusion of Ukraine in NATO under him, nor were there Russia McCain’s giving speeches in Ukraine agitating the crowds under him.

Nor was there the following from Russia provoking, so think logically:

“Ukraine’s neo-Nazi Svoboda Party and its founders, Oleh Tyahnybok and Andriy Parubiy, played leading roles in the U.S-backed coup [against a legally-elected government] in February 2014. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt mentioned Tyahnybok as one of the leaders they were working with in their infamous leaked phone call before the coup, even as they tried to exclude him from an official position in the post-coup government.

...it was Yarosh who took to the stage in the Maidan and rejected the Feb. 21, 2014 agreement negotiated by the French, German and Polish foreign ministers, under which President Viktor Yanukovych and opposition political leaders agreed to hold new elections later that year. Instead, Yarosh and Right Sector refused to disarm and led the climactic march on Parliament that overthrew the government.

... 2014, Nuland and the State Department got their favorite, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, installed as prime minister of the post-coup government.”

Yes, and other nations do it too.

It’s truly amazing to find folks this ignorant, and proud of it trying to jin
this up into a grand conspiracy. “Yep the US planned this all along. We
Knew it!!!!!!!!”

We have war gamed every nation on the planet, and just about every adult
knows it and understands why.

Then there’s the insult neocon. It’s a word that applies to people who
support their adventuresome government when it starts dubious foreign
Wars..

The U.S. didn’t invade another nation and its troops are not fighting in one.

Those who call the supporters of the Ukraine neocons, can’t even
grasp that the Ukraine didn’t invade another nation either.

The stupidity of these people is astounding and it’s a group, all
supporting a Hitler like invasion of a foreign sovereign nation,
and trying to annex it. That would be the textbook definition of a
neocon, if it were their nation, but then most of them seem to
have seemed to adopt Russia as their nation, hating their own.

From there it falls apart further.
