The Obama regime-backed coup of 2014 in Ukraine led to present-day Ukraine as the coup overthrew a legally-elected government, a coup that present-day Ukraine is derived from.

Either way, we need to stay out of this, but Obama supporters will undoubtedly disagree.

Obama Openly Admits ‘Brokering Power Transition’ in Ukraine

“Ukraine’s neo-Nazi Svoboda Party and its founders, Oleh Tyahnybok and Andriy Parubiy, played leading roles in the U.S-backed coup in February 2014. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt mentioned Tyahnybok as one of the leaders they were working with in their infamous leaked phone call before the coup, even as they tried to exclude him from an official position in the post-coup government.

...it was Yarosh who took to the stage in the Maidan and rejected the Feb. 21, 2014 agreement negotiated by the French, German and Polish foreign ministers, under which President Viktor Yanukovych and opposition political leaders agreed to hold new elections later that year. Instead, Yarosh and Right Sector refused to disarm and led the climactic march on Parliament that overthrew the government.

... 2014, Nuland and the State Department got their favorite, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, installed as prime minister of the post-coup government.”

This German historian, while pro-Ukrainian, usually gives a good objective assessment of developments in this war.

Referendums now is like letting house squatters take a vote on whether to keep your house.

Nobody is going to recognize those referendums as legitimate.

This kind of referendum is a joke.
Just some observations:
Pretty much only the pro-Russian people are left.
Ukrainian left these areas ahead of Russian attacks, hiding in underground, forcibly relocated to Russia or were killed by the Russians.
These areas are pretty empty now.
Referendum on zoom - world first!
Many people do not even have computers or internet. Fairness is totally out of question.
What happen to you if you vote No?
Siberia!
