Dennis Prager and Salem Media are promoting Elders candidacy.
Larry began as a caller to Prager’s L.A. radio show and Dennis fell in love. At that time Larry was definitely a libertarian and Dennis a Bush junior Republican. I suspect they both still are.
He might be trying to get the VP nod.
Maybe he can run independent and then siphon off the black vote from the democrats.

Running for the VP spot.
Cabinet position.
Enhance his resume.

I could be wrong, but the way I see it is that anyone who tries to beat out Trump in the primaries is setting themselves up to a lot of resentment from which they will never recover.
The chaos that would cause in the party would be completely unnecessary and down-right stupid.

These fake runs for president is one of the most corrupt things we see people do in politics.
Occasionally there is a reason, even a real competition reason, but usually it is for the corrupt reasons people are posting on this thread.

True. I had one relative who worked on Trump’s campaign convoy 2015 and another rep in Wa state. The way it works is that you “keep” the money but you have to report it for tax purposes. That cousin of mine who worked for the state rep made at least a million in contributions win or lose. There is always a fundraiser dude in charge of raising money and he gets a large chunk of it too.
This is how some people run for VP.

Larry don’t do it. I love ya like a brother from another mother. You can never tell if you might be tapped for a cabinet position. You got smarts but let President Trump get his stolen win back.......
