If I were a resident of Texas or Florida and they actually had an income tax (BTW, why is that? I mean ‘conservatism’ doesn’t work according to leftists, right?) and their respective Governors said to me, “Look, we need to raise your taxes so that we can charter MORE buses, MORE Jets, MORE trains to offload these INVADERS to well-deserving elitist, leftist idyllic enclaves,” I’d say ARE YOU ASKING FOR ENOUGH? Do you need more money? Is there a GoFundMe or a place where I can send money for it?
THIS! needs to keep happening. An everyday occurrence until their hypocrisy is shown for what it is and they are forced to WHINE to Big Guy Biden and Hollaback, “Enough is enough! Close the borders!”
I hear Delaware is a very nice vacay spot. The Big Guy goes there every weekend to his gated, fenced and guarded compound.
The reason this is sooo very sweet is that the Democrats have for years instilled in people a hatred for the rich.
So when illegals appear on Martha’s Vineyard, even Democrats think it’s funny.

Here’s a thought. The current meme from Democrats so enamored of MV is that they just don’t have the ‘infrastructure’ and ‘resources’ to deal with an influx of 50 Venezuelans.
Juxtapose that against the average price of a home there ($1 Million plus) and the property taxes that just have to be levied against them and the question is begged, then, “where is all this money going if not for infrastructure and resource improvement?”
In other words, who are the MV politicians, bureaucrats and local government cronies who must be undoubtedly be getting rich from the boon not spent on those ‘resources and infrastructure.’
Seems like just-Democrat-SOP to me.

Watching another news item about this yesterday I note the reporter described the mode by which the illegals arrived. They’re given all their info on where to go, set up for travel, and assured of a place to stay when they get there - by an “NGO” or “non-government organization.”
Thank you Roman Catholic church. Thank you, Latter-Day Saints. Thank you, “Church” of Scientology. Thank you, other denominations and “charitable” organizations who prize illegal aliens over their own membership.
I’ve told this little story before, but: The Roman Catholic church started buying up property in the neighborhood where I live about 10 years ago. I said something about it on twatter at the time and a catholic guy I followed on there who I used to talk to once in awhile pretty much condemned me for not being really joyful about the large number of M3xicans - uh, wait, they’re REFUGESS FROM VENEZUELA, sorry about that - filling up the houses in my hood.
They’re still here and I note “good conservatives” are still saying bad stuff about me because I DON’T LIKE IT. There is continual noise and constant threats that go on ALL DAY LONG. There is clearly someone dealing and using crack. Some of the houses sound like they have WAY more than 10 people in ‘em. (They have Ru$$ians, too. A lot of their “refugees” are Ru$$ians - again this is not speculation on my part, there’s a book about this in the local library. Yay, Ru$$ians!!! They’re good catholics and I’m a bad girl!)
And the Catholics are hella upset with me for complaining. I’m supposed to jump in and help take care of the illegal aliens - oops, sorry again, REFUGEES FROM VENEZUELA - and teach them about “S3infeld.” No, again I’m not hallucinating - this is something they make it clear that I’m supposed to do, and happily, and I’m not going to stop getting teh death threatz until I comply. Some of these folks are - again, not kidding or exaggerating! - people I went to grade school with. They want me to get on board with the REFUGEES FROM VENEZUELA OR ELSE.
And a number of so-called “GOP” have made it clear that they are in support of this, so I’d better straighten up and start being obedient or pretty soon I’m going to be ChoMoeJoe’s best friend.
And some of y’all know about this and you’re just so okay with it.
These churches are using their tax-exempt status to SCREW THE UNITED STATES and then the out-of-control gaywads who control the churches finance vendettas against those who aren’t all right with it.
A lot of y’all are not seeing the forest for the trees. It’s good that Texas and Florida are fighting back, but is it really working or is it just an attention-getting device to win votes? (And we have to keep in mind that in Florida, they are REFUGEES FROM VENEZUELA AND CUBA. Don’t forget!) Because both states are pretty much being overrun by illegal aliens and you could send a hundred buses to Martha’s Vineyard but you’ll get rid of maybe 3% or 4% of the problem that way.
These churches need to be b1tch-slapped for doing this to us.

Chris Plante pointed out this morning that Martha's Vineyard has 17,000 year-round residents, but accommodates 200,000 visitors during the tourist season.
They would seem to have plenty of 'infrastructure.' Just not for Venezuelans, apparently.
