Truth is discovered individually, but it is validated by consensus. For example, a new math proof may be discovered by an individual, but it is not accepted as true until it has been published, reviewed by other mathematicians, and agreed to be correct. And yes, sometimes the consensus is wrong, and a flaw in the proof is found later.

In your example the proof is true before the first person discovers it. It is true regardless of whether or not anyone else agrees. It does not need validation. Or to be more precise there is no property or quality that validation either possesses or bestows that changes the math proof or adds any quality to the proof in any way. All that happens is that more people discover that it is true.
