Trump judges are on a tear
Politico ^ | Sept 12, 2022 | Josh Gerstein and Kyle Cheney

A decision by a judge appointed by former President Donald Trump to temporarily halt a Justice Department investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate triggered an avalanche of criticism from across the legal spectrum, including attacks from conservatives who served in the Trump administration.

“It was deeply flawed in a number of ways,” former Attorney General William Barr said.

But Judge Aileen Cannon’s ruling is just one of a flurry of controversial decisions by Trump judges in recent months that have been criticized as out of step with longstanding legal principles.

Among the provocative decisions from Trump-appointed judges:

A Trump appointee in Arkansas ruled in February that the Voting Rights Act can’t be enforced by private individuals or groups, despite more than five decades of such litigation.

In May, another Trump appointee in Florida canceled scheduled arguments in a challenge to the federal mandate for mask use in transportation, then rushed out a decision striking down the requirement just days before it was set to expire.

Also in May, a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas blocked the Biden administration from lifting pandemic-related immigration restrictions Trump imposed in 2020.

The left is panicking as their judicial tyranny is stopped. It is typical that the Dems use of the courts to force policy is not questioned, only those that follow the Constitution are smeared.

“out of step with longstanding legal principles”

That is, a small counterstrike against the socialist legal revolution of 1937.

Glad they’re on a tear, given the corruption in this Administration.

The American Communist Party uses every available outlet at their disposal to destroy the Republic. Hollywood. Public schools. Faux Christian religions (Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic, etc.). The entire news media complex. Legalized marijuana. Etc.

And they're succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.

The communists celebrated Chief Justice Roberts when he said “We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges. What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges”.

Now they’re all in on the “Trump judges” theory.

“The left is panicking as their judicial tyranny is stopped.”

They were ONE SENATE VOTE from getting that tyranny back due to Republicans sitting out Senate elections and letting Democrats win...you know, to ‘teach GOP a lesson’. So don’t celebrate yet - they still very well may get to pack the courts - at which point we cease any chance of ever being a free country again.

(but I know, RINOs suck...so who cares)

The entire leftist “legal” system has to be uprooted and replaced with a non-political system where the law is actually followed, and “judges” don’t legislate from the bench.

They didn’t mention the decision of a Clinton appointed judge to dismiss Trump’s lawsuit against....Hilary Clinton.

Odd.

By the way, there was utterly nothing unusual about the appointment of a special master to examine anything seized by the FIB in their raid on Trump’s home. The appointment of a special master in such cases is almost never overturned on appeal. This is just Pollutico BS.

That’s why there are appeals courts.

Barr doesn’t consider what the DOJ/FBI is doing out of line, only anything Trump does in return.

Barr is a criminal.

Poor baby leftists. They use the courts to do all kinds of foul vile things but as soon as a normal person does it legally to fight back it’s activism or something bad.

The hideous hypocrisy of the left knows no limits.
