I remember about two weeks into Obama’s *first* term a series of articles saying what a shame it was he could only serve twice, that they needed to amend the law to fix that… and he only just arrived in office! Of course, in about that same time frame he got the Nobel Peace Prize.

We’ll know fairly early on Election Night if DeSantis is re-elected or not. Florida tends to count their votes fairly quickly.
If he loses, that would be the harbinger for a massive GOP catastrophe across the board. Everyone with an (R) after their name is in dire straits.
Making Florida more Red is one of the flew good things to come out of Covid. Many formerly blue state residents decided to finally flee CT, NJ, MI, NY and several other states to move to Florida where you were free to do as you pleased.

Since 2016 the demographic in Florida has changed greatly. For the first time EVER in the State’s history there are more registered Republicans than Democrats in 2021-2. That alone is gaslighting to believe this state is turning blue, it is actually turning very Red very fast.
