Asked about the possibility of facing Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2024, Trump was hugely dismissive.
“If I faced him, I’d beat him like I would beat everyone else,” Trump told Yahoo Finance late last week. “I think most people would drop out, I think he would drop out.”
Trump’s reply should have been: I’m focused on 2022, not 2024......I want to help our candidates as much as I can between now and the mid-terms.

His reply was just fine. He (Trump) would beat them badly, if they ran against him in 2024.
I like DeSantis, and will gladly vote for/campaign for him in 2024 if Trump decides NOT to run.
(And he may not run considering all the bullsh*t the DS have put he and his family through. I pray he does though.)
But, if DeSantis, or anyone else goes against Trump for 2024-that will tell us all we need to know about them.
But he is not wrong....and it is Trump.... so expect very little in the way finesse
