A 9-year-old boy was killed and at least 10 people were seriously injured in a Russian rocket strike in the southern Ukrainian town of Zelenodolsk as Ukrainian forces have pushed their counteroffensive in the south of the country.

The news of the rocket strike Saturday came as a report from Conflict Armament Research, an independent armed conflict investigation group based in Britain, revealed that Russia has been using outdated foreign technology in its advanced missiles systems and helicopters.

Valentyn Reznichenko, the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk province, said in a statement to Telegram that Russian forces fired Uragan rockets at Zelenodolsk which hit eight high-rise buildings, shops, a kindergarten and a medical school.

Besides war, what other Biden policies do you agree with?

Amazing who stupendous the Soros proxy-warriors are and how inept the Russians are, yet the war drags on and the Russians keep gaining more ground.

Very puzzling.

Sounds like some ITAR prosecutions are possible. But you are probably ok as long as the Big Guy got his 10 percent.

“revealed that Russia has been using outdated foreign technology in its advanced missiles systems and helicopters.”

I bet you can find the same in our military, outdated tech comes easily. Also ammo and such are pushed with the oldest first.

It even makes me sympathize with Russia a little bit when these jerks try to jerk tears from me with this sick vapid propaganda.

Valentyn Reznichenko, the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk province, said ...

This is what constitutes reporting these days?

Maybe the Russians meant to do that and, given the comments here, looks like their fan club dismisses it altogether and then blames it on Soros, Biden, etc. … anyone but the Russians!

Fascinating the things you learn about people these days.
And such a change from just a few short years ago, too.

Indeed, it is very surprising to see longtime posters--people I used to respect--become thoroughly evil and justify that evil by citing Soros, Biden, etc. when confronted with such an obvious threat to this country as Putin, who's now in the same league as Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao.

It really is appalling what has happened here on this board since 2016 since it seems that so many have lost their ever loving minds.

Agree. And the FR moderators don’t seem to care about tending to the Putin posters. The disclaimer on the homepage goes ignored.

“Free Republic is a site dedicated to the concerns of traditional grassroots conservative activists. We’re here to discuss and advance our conservative causes in a more or less liberal-free environment. We’re not here to debate liberals. We do not want our pages filled with their arrogant, obnoxious, repugnant bile. Liberals, usurpers, and other assorted malcontents are considered unwelcome trolls on FR and their accounts and or posts will be summarily dismissed at the convenience of the site administrators.”

I noticed the articles you posted. All have the same pro Ukraine theme.

What I have become aware of...is there is no such thing as an unbiased media. It doesn’t matter what side you are on, conservative or liberal. People write the stories and people have opinions.

I think there are many on here who would like to know what is going on there without all the bias, emotional appeal, and untruths.

It looks to me like most on FR do not support either side because it is not our war. So posting emotional stories only inflames, it doesn’t convince.

You wrote: “Indeed, it is very surprising to see longtime posters—people I used to respect—become thoroughly evil and justify that evil...”

To call longtime posters who don’t agree with you evil is just plain wrong.

This war could have been prevented, had the homoglobalists not consistently poked the bear and refused to address Russia's concerns.

Even before invasion, Zelesnsky refused to negotiate.

And even after the early days of the invasion as Russia was advancing on Kiev, Boris prevented Zelensky from negotiating a peaceful end.

"Or what king on his way to war with another king will not first sit down and consider whether he can engage with ten thousand men the one coming against him with twenty thousand? And if he is unable, he will send a delegation while the other king is still far off, to ask for terms of peace.…"

Why don't you apply that criteria to Russian sources?

It looks to me like most on FR do not support either side because it is not our war.

Another reason is because I see too much bad on both sides.

Finally, even if I felt strongly for either side, I am of the opinion that our money and involvement can only make a bad situation worse.

What would the peace look like? It hasn’t been clear what either side intended for the past 8 years. Hopefully, it ends soon.

Because the Ukrainian governor runs an oblast being attacked and has every reason to tell the truth, whereas the Russians are the attackers and have every reason to lie, especially since Putin has re-imposed Soviet-style thought and media controls.
