Ted Cruz returning to New Hampshire to support Leavitt in GOP primary in crucial House race

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas is heading to New Hampshire next week on a 2022 mission that will also spark more speculation about his national ambitions in 2024.

Cruz will travel to the crucial general election battleground state to campaign with Republican candidate Karoline Leavitt, in an announcement that was shared first with Fox News on Saturday. The get-out-the-vote rally will be held Thursday evening at American Legion Post 27 in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

Leavitt, a 25-year-old veteran of former President Donald Trump’s White House press shop, is currently one of the co-front-runners in the Sept. 13 Republican primary in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District, which has long been a highly contested swing House district.

"Senator Ted Cruz is one of the greatest champions of the Constitution and our God-given freedoms on Capitol Hill. I am grateful for his support, and I look forward to welcoming him back to the Live Free or Die State — as we work to defeat the Establishment on September 13th," Leavitt told Fox News in a statement.

Cruz, in endorsing Leavitt last October, said in a statement at the time that "Karoline is a fighter who shares our core values, will bring new leadership to D.C. and help conservatives stand up to the Swamp."

The trip by Cruz to New Hampshire — which for a century has held the first presidential primary in the race for the White House — will further fuel speculation that Cruz is moving towards launching a second national campaign

I am glad that Sen. Cruz is supporting Karoline Leavitt. She is one of the top candidates for the US House of Representatives here in New Hampshire. She can defeat Chris Pappas.

Matt Mowers has been sending out fake campaign mailers against her, showing his true colors as a Chris Christie style politician. In the mailer Mowers accuses Karoline Leavitt of "praising Anthony Fauci" because while she was working at the Trump White House she posted a quote from Fauci saying "Covid won't be a pandemic a lot longer thanks to rapid progress in vaccine development" and added "President Trump has been right all along!"

That was a part of her job in the press team at the White House. Source

Matt Mowers seems to have forgotten that at the time he was the Chief of Staff to Deborah Birx. Yes, the Dr. Birx who had to quite in disgrace because while she was shutting down America and preventing people from going to family funerals, weddings and other gatherings she had a party at her house.

Karoline Leavitt is a great choice for conservative New Hampshire voters. Vote in the primary on September 13th.
