I’m surprised they have not begun building “prisons” yet. Maybe they have a capability to build hasties, then build more permanent ones later.

Actually I have seen pics of some of the gulags, they look like they could go up pretty quick.

Often the train loads of zeks were dumped out in the snow
and forced to build their own camps. Snow caves until they
had cut enough trees to build dugout huts. The record is

Many were in places so bad they didn’t need fences. We have lots of places like that right in our own country.
