Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced on Thursday that the state government is working with police to investigate a possible illegal selling of a voter assist terminal.
“We are actively working with law enforcement to investigate allegations of an illegal attempt to sell a voter assist terminal acquired in Michigan,” Benson wrote in a statement.
Benson explained that a voter assist terminal is normally used to assist voters, often those with disabilities, who require help in marking their ballots.
“While our elections remain secure and safe, we take seriously all violations of election law and will be working with relevant authorities to ensure there are consequences for those who break the law.”

Ha! That's a laugh. A machine that changes the vote that was cast by the voter? That IS a voting machine, plain and simple.
A "voter assist terminal".
Feh.
Probably afraid someone might open it up and find something nefarious.
“While our elections remain secure and safe...”

Is this anything like the vaccine being “safe and effective”?
Was Sorosis the seller?
Most voters use a paper ballot and fill in bubbles for an optical scanner.
These voter assist terminals are for voters that cannot fill out a paper ballot (such as do to severe Parkinson’s that prevent the voter from having the fine motor skills required to fill in a bubble on a paper ballot without spoiling the ballot.)
The FBI should be investigating, oh wait. they can’t be trusted either.
Might be being used for nursing home residents who think they are voting for FDR.
But when reported cheating was happening, police were sitting their thumbs.
“Voter assist machine”
Yeah... Assist you voting correctly. “You really didn’t mean to vote for that, let me assist you voting properly.”
