5:30 PM?! In other words, broad daylight. Further the H Street corridor is a very gentrified up and coming area of The District. This is not good.
8th & H NE, you have to be nuts to go there at night, or even after noon.

Hay, Ben’s Chili Bowl is a with it place. I actually ate there once over 50 years ago as my mother was picking up several pictures she had framed by a company she had done business with since the 1930’s. It was lunch time and about half the diners were white from various businesses in the area. The chili at the time really was good being almost entirely ground beef with the liquid drained off. Almost no grease at all.
Imagine how high you have to be to try to carjack from a pro football player. Welcome to the nation’s hellhole, uh, capital. Glad nothing important was hurt - just your legs.

Today there was a reporter on Newsmax who went out on the street at a college campus to ask students a few VERY EASY questions!! Question 1 was, what country is the Queen of England in…….NONE of the 3 students asked could answer the question!! Question 2 was, what ocean is on the east side of the United States…….NONE of the 3 students asked could answer the question OMG utterly pathetic!!!
