Is acting suspicious a misdemeanor a felony?
No, but it warrants closer and more vigilant surveillance.
If you call the cops on me because you think I’m “acting suspicious” you need a solid ass-kicking or to get ventilated.
I don’t like law breakers, but anything done in retaliation for an unfair or inaccurate accusation is justified in my book.
Call the cops and there’s a non-zero chance I get shot (I might be carrying, and more than one rookie idiot cop has freaked out when dealing with a legit CCW).
So calling the cops on someone in a public place, where they have a right to be, without *video* (or multiple witnesses with verifiable observations) is, to my mind, just a step below attempted murder or battery, at least if *I’M* the person you are calling them on. And that should at least get you fired, ideally your ass kicked hard.
Now, I’m a 60 year old white guy who usually dresses nicely, doesn’t cause a ruckus, and deals with police in a polite and respectful manner, so I’m really not that much in danger. But still, call them on *ME* without damned good cause (like I’m looking in your window or ranting incoherently while armed) and I have no problem with the gravest of consequences befalling you, indeed I will assist.
Obviously I am using “you” here to mean the idiot calling the cops, not you, personally, MercyFlush.
