Back to Videos Director Rochelle Walensky: CDC Needs To Develop "Special Forces" To Fight Future Pandemics Posted By Ian Schwartz On Date August 18, 2022 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky told CBS News the agency needs "special forces" among their ranks that deploy during public health emergencies. Walensky's proposal for the unit comes amid a major reorganization of the agency following "some pretty public mistakes" during the COVID-19 pandemic

"I think our public health infrastructure in the country was not up to the task of handling this pandemic," Walensky told CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook. "We learned some hard lessons over the last three years and as part of that it's my responsibility, it's' the agency's responsibility, to learn from those lessons and do better."

"I think it is really important to understand the great work of this agency but also to admit to areas where we needed to improve," she said. "We owe that to the American people."

"We do now have an agency that has intense scientific expertise in almost every area of public health which is a real gift. And what we really need to do is raise those folks outside of their slios," Walensky said.

They need to be heavily armed, like IRS agents.

Still waiting on CDC to declare all bath houses closed, calling for bans on so called pride parades, etc.

No matter what they're proposing....it should have been done 50 years ago.

IIRC, they had no inventory of size of any materials that would help. President Trump did all he could to accommodate the lack of "everything".

We had a Pandemic in 1918. CDC and Fauci used bits and pieces for "policy"....and kept inside that box...bad judgement.

One thing I did pick up was that the nurses in 1918...walked every morning to get Fresh air and sunshine.

It took Fauci a year to even mention it....telling people to open their windows. DA

Sorry, but the politically correct CDC has its priorities. All businesses and churches must be closed first.

= = =

And lots of ammo to shoot those viruses.

If you won’t take that liquid shot, we will have to give you a lead shot.

The CDC was supposed to be the “special forces” to protect the nation from contagious diseases.
Failing that it wants to get bigger and have real powers.

Unelected bureaucracies tend to be rewarded with every incompetent act, not punished.

In lieu of special forces, how ‘bout we just make it a priority to make all pharmaceuticals and vaccines here in the US. I’ve never seen this level of stupidity.

I have to give Rochelle Walensky major credit for one thing she did this past year.

She admitted all COVID PCR tests were only ever COMPLETELY BOGUS tests and that they literally FALSE IDENTIFIED COVID infection, even 12 weeks after a person had isolated, but never had signs of a COVID infection.

In other words, if we used the PCR test to keep people from going outside, people would have to be locked up virtually forever.

You see, any random viral particle, even if COVID, was never enough to assure a solid infection level in a person, yet, the PCR test amplified anything it could to achieve “positivity.” The number of iteration the PCR test did were astronomical, so a fraction of dust could make it positive, at that rate. The issue always was, “Is the amount identified worthy or indicative of a likely true infection?” Unfortunately, PCR tests were never set up with such an infectious level.

So, I do have to admit some admiration for this lady, because she blew up the fallacy of the PCR “Gold Standard” the world had used to justify so much bad done to us.

Of course, she only did this to help Biden, unfortunately.

FU bitch, the only problem the CDC and most other Government agencies has is the Inability to TELL THE TRUTH.

What we really need is One Simple Law art the Federal Level:

Any Federal Employee that makes deliberate False or Misleading statements that causes an Injury or Loss of any kind to any private citizen, shall be Guilty of a Felony and shall upon conviction be sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in Federal Prison.

PROBLEM SOLVED

Failure and incompetence in DC usually result in bigger budgets for the inept agencies.

CDC and its stable of related entities want $10.675 billion in FY 2023 which is $2.3 billion over the FY 2022.

We already have “special forces”... close to and inside the States populations.

We don’t need a massive federal “armed” no doubt overtaking of State powers per our Constitution.

Mission creep will almost certainly guarantee that.

After all, a CDC team just can’t march into a church and tell the pastor to close down. It’s too risky. The pastor might ask them to leave, and so cause distress to the team. A heavily armed unit would be able to work around that.

Remember the Ebola threat when CDC seemed totally unprepared and incompetent?

Every time something comes up since at least the 1970s the CDC seems to have to start from ground zero, as though it is its first day in operation and they are starting from scratch on what to do or what to ship out, or having a plan.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky: We need “special forces.” We made “some pretty public mistakes”

“Our public health infrastructure in the country was not up to the task of handling this pandemic.”

$10 billion a year just doesn’t buy what it used to buy. If only their budget were $20 billion or maybe $40 billion, they wouldn’t have made any mistakes.
