I see no strategic value in waiting. The longer they wait, the longer the other side has to get their version across. I’m suspect that such tapes exist.
That's not necessary a bad thing. Let the RATs commit to a narrative then use the surveillance video to show that the narrative is a lie.

Give the FBI time to make their bed. Let them lie in it. Right, there are agents that may have acted completely inappropriately and illegally. They don’t know if they’re on camera or not. Let them stew a bit.
