It was my first reaction to hearing about the raid. I truly believe that McConnell gave his “permission” for the Dems to run rough shod over Trump via the FBI. He’s so happy.
He is not a statesman as he believes he is. Rather, he is a POS.

If this was viewed as a National Security issue, McConnell would have been briefed.
Perhaps his silence is that he knows what has been planted and knows he can do nothing about it.
I’m not trying to defend Mitch here. But he is a political animal and when the other side has you in a corner, you stay quiet.
