You misunderstand what I meant. The government of the US is evil, and that includes the people who work for it since they ultimately further its ambitions even if they delude themselves and say they are working to change it from the inside.
The People- like you and me and our families and neighbors and, generally speaking the populace of the US, are NOT evil.
That is the differentiation I mean.

I can agree with that—most people in any nation are not evil—just doing the best they can maybe trapped in a culture with evil men running things. Most Russian, Iranians, Chinese are not evil. Some, by playing along, are helping evil to do its evil work.
