Well... no.
While the Constitution enumerates the right to have and carry weapons of all sorts, not just guns, God is who validates it.
It is a God given right to be able to defend yourself against aggression with whatever tool you need.
True, and in that sense the truths of the Declaration of Independence (DOI) are what validates the fight for gun ownership.
The inspired DOI defines us as individuals and as a nation.
The Constitution is the legal and political extension of the DOI. Whereas the DOI defines the PEOPLE of this nation who are born free by their Creator, the Constitution defines the GOVERNMENT of this nation and delegates certain LIMITED enumerated rights to it. It is understood that every power delegated by the Constitution to the feds lessens the freedom of the people, but necessary to have a workable government that was able to fend off mainly foreign enemies.
The vile Left hates both founding documents because the vile left hates America.
the Constitution enumerates the right to have and carry weapons
No, that is a common misreading of the first ten amendments. The Constitution doesn't enumerate any rights to individuals because those rights ate dispensed by God not man. The first ten amendments are there to satisfy the anti-federalists who didn't want a Constitution and demanded these be put there to confirm the rights they already had, but worried a central government would simply violate them if they weren't clearly spelled out. The first ten amendments are a CONFIRMATION of certain God-given rights, not an enumeration of such.
These things are confirmed in the 9Th and 10th Amendments which the Left has categorically rejected. Unfortunately, since the Left has had control of our most important establishments including education, everything the Left hates has simply not been taught and, thus, we have a fairly ignorant population - by design thanks to the vile Left.
