The Chinese military is sending a delegation of troops and military vehicles to participate in a series of military competitions in Russia next month.

On Tuesday, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) announced its delegation of troops participating in the 2022 International Army Games (IAG) in Russia had departed by train from the Chinese Inner Mongolian city of Manzhouli, on its way to the city of Zabaikalsk in Russia’s southeast. The Chinese delegation left for China along with vehicles for the “Masters of Armored Vehicles” and “Tank Biathlon” competitions.

IAG is an international competition held annually by the Russian military since 2015. IAG 2022 will be held from August 13 to 27 and 275 teams from 37 countries and regions are currently slated to compete. The 36 competitions in the IAG 2022 games will be held in 12 different countries. China will also host three of the IAG 2022 contests, including the “Suvorov Attack” contest for infantry fighting vehicles, the “Safe Route” contest for engineering corps, and the “Sea Cup” contest for frigates.

A good way to scope out the capabilities of any potential adversaries.

Or coordinate for future plans of joint operations.

Isn’t it interesting that Russia can easily spare the military resources for this WHILE the shit is going down in Malorossia. Russia is not even mobilized for war. Malorossia was the best NATO had and Russia views dealing with them as a simple case of administring spankings to a bunch of hoodlums. An expeditionary force using about 15% of Russia’s military strength. The NATO fops and Biden/Zelensky lovers here are gonna be squealinig like lilttle pigs in about a month...

China takes Eastern Russia in less than 10 years.

I agree, but China is not going after Russia now. That would
be a colossal military blunder.

It will resolve its other issues, and then it’s on with
Russia.

China will win since Russia’s best became 200s between Feb 24 and April 1.

It is meant to be. Not quite a lie but a definite stretching of the truth in order to get a handful of people to click on a link. It might make the difference between 16 cents of revenue and almost a full dollar.

For sure! Putin should worry more about China than NATO countries.

1st, this has nothing to do with the Special Military Operation in Ukraine. The place in the article is further from Ukraine than New York City.

2nd, Russia is conducting the operation as a “Special Military” operation to AVOID bringing in more troops because the Russian constitution requires a level of approval that is too politically risky. I’m not making this up—it is Russia themselves who said so.

3rd, Russia has terrible demographics going back to the breakup of the Soviet Union, 30 years ago. The Russian fertility rate is below 1.6 currently, which means most families only have 1 or 2 kids. This means a draft will potentially cause many family lines to die out. President Putin is keenly aware how a mobilization would hurt him politically with most Russians and wishes to avoid that as much as possible.

Isn’t it interesting that Russia can easily spare the military resources for this WHILE the sh*t is going down [...]

Keep your shirt on! It's a competition. Each participant enters with a score of tanks, tops.

This would not seriously deplete the reserves of even only Lithuania.

Russia has lost only about three-quarters of the 1,200 tanks it initially deployed to Ukraine at the begin of its invasion, so Putin can certainly spare a few to participate in a couple of the events at this competition.

—”China takes Eastern Russia in less than 10 years.”

No shots fired and they will own it lock, stock and barrel!

By moving in the Chinese companies and Chinese workers.

The remaining ‘Russians’ will sign it over to them.

As life was looking up for Mother Russia, Putin flushed it away.
