Oh because this nation has prospered since Biden and the Democrats took over? I pray this nation is repairable by the time Trump is re-elected.

True. Trump is the only real leader this nation has had in many years. As a little boy in 50-54 I used to walk to church with my grandmother. After Sunday School and church, I’d walk with Granny to get the NYT. That paper was massive even then. Very little of NY was Republican then. Only upstate north of Albany could be counted. I recall the I like Ike pins. He won.

In 2014, Blow came out publicly as bisexual.

So that's what has got his knickers in a twist.

I suspect that if his parents hadn't saddled the young man with the name Blow, he might not have appropriated it as his own personal verb.

Charles Blow actually had a marketable skill - besides racial grievance - after graduating from Grambling State in 1992.

He was hired by the Detroit News, then by the New York Times, as a graphics artist and graphics editor. NYT promoted him to Director of their entire graphics department. He was then hired as Art Director of National Geographic magazine.

He did not begin writing his NYT column, and appearing as a regular commentator on CNN and MSNBC, until 2008.

Re: saddled the young man with the name Blow

Personally, I would have told everyone that my family was in the cocaine business, and I did not want to hurt their feelings by changing my name.

The handwriting is on the wall.

The Left knows what is coming. So does the RNC and GOPe.

They’re not going to rule the roost like they used to.

Their donations are drying up. Their ability to sew
subterfuge against best policy, is going bye-bye.

Blow is right in a sense.

Trump hasn’t been prosecuted and the country is collapsing.

RE: no one prosecuted President before....

True and hope you are right they won’t try it now.

But I remember a post-resignation interview with Richard Nixon and some line he said about the reason he reverses course and decided to give up his fight to survive was he was told they were planning to go to a criminal indictment on him. To avoid that he gave up and resigned.

“”He has learned from his failures and is now more dangerous than ever,” Blow continued.”

That’s what I’m looking for, is for DJT to have learned. But from what I saw yesterday in his DC Speech some of his plans and policies are unsustainable. He wants instant death penalty for drug dealers?! Yeah, in a perfect world that would be great. My angry conservative side applauds that line. But it doesn’t translate to legislation. The real drug dealers are in the pharma industry and nobody’s gonna touch them fat cats.

He wants to deal with violence in the city by sending in the National Guard. Again, how’s that going to work? He’s going to set a precedent and executive orders that would enable National Guard troops to enforce abortion rights? Because that’s exactly what the democrats will do with it.

On the other hand I like his idea about trimming the fat off the federal government with a meat cleaver. But I’ve as much confidence in his ability to achieve that as the other two that I mentioned above. I’d vote for DJT if he was on the ballot. But Desantis has demonstrated the ability to succeed as a governing executive.

We need to be thoughtful here and not vengeful.
