Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to travel to the Middle East this week, a rare trip abroad intended to signal that the protracted and costly war in Ukraine hasn’t diminished Moscow’s place on the world stage.
In only his second trip outside Russia since the country invaded Ukraine in February, Mr. Putin is set to travel to Tehran on Tuesday, where he will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. The visit reflects the importance Mr. Putin places in maintaining the leverage Russia gained from years of military and diplomatic intervention in the Middle East.

Another “sign of the times” ping
God bless to all
Prayers please - a woman backed into my car on the street. (left turn lane)
She admitted fault - hasn’t responded to her insurance company yet......
I did call the police - he asked if they were in agreement that it was 100% her fault and she said yes (which is true and accurate).
Still......
Still, her ins company will try to get you to admit it might have been partly your fault. That happened to my parents when someone blew through a red light and missed killing my dad by a foot or so.
Witnesses agreed that it was his fault, and yet HIS insurance company called my parents to talk to them. Fortunately they knew better than to do that because their goal was to get them to inadvertently admit some kind of carelessness and accept some sort of responsibility so the insurance company wouldn’t have to pay out as much, or at all.
The other person’s insurance company has no business talking to you.
Yeah I figure that is coming
I had been think about getting video cameras for the car
Wish I’d had one.
I may see if there’s any at a nursery near there.
My son got a dashcam after someone blew through a red light and totaled his car.
He then got me one for Christmas, that has both front and rear facing cameras.
I have been very close to needing it. Thank God He protected me.
Wish I had it 4 days ago
